How to Hustle and Win

by Seth "Soul Man" Ferranti
July 2008

You've read the new Dutch and Wahida Clark's books. You've talked about the Teri Woods and Vickie Stringer situations. You've checked out the new Don Diva and Street Lit Review and you're waiting for Thug Politics by Kwame Teague and BET's new American Gangster series. So what do you do now? The same old hood novels are getting old. There are only a handful of good authors anyhow. It'll be a minute before Street Legends Vol. 2 featuring Fat Cat and Rayful Edmonds drops, so what is on the agenda to fill a gangsta reader's appetite in the meantime?

Try How to Hustle and Win by Supreme Understanding.

"I have a message for anybody who's fucked up right now," Supreme Understanding says. "Whether you're in the streets, locked up, or just dealing with some real internal anguish. I want everyone to understand that we are the way we are because of the game they gave us. We were never meant to win." How to Hustle and Win doesn't just present the game—it explains it, every part of it. Whether you know it or not, you're playing. And chances are, you're losing. How to Hustle and Win is the handbook on how to play the game and win.how to hustle and win

"Its revolution in a bottle," Supreme Understanding says. "If you could pack everything a soldier needs to know into a book, this book would have it." And Supreme Understanding is the man to give it to you. His ability to combine intellectual awareness, with insight from the real world of America's ghettos has made him a keen-eyed critic of the many failed measures to reach urban youth. After studying the weaknesses of dozens of programs, policies, and philosophies, he realized something else was needed; namely his book, How to Hustle and Win.

"If I ain't do it, it wouldn't get done," Supreme Understanding says. "My book will change the world, by changing how you think." And the book sure enough does that in a very thorough and entertaining way. The book is sad and the book is funny. It shows examples from the real lives of black gangsters, hustlers, and rappers. It breaks down their actions and their failings. The streets are talking and they're saying that this book is the real deal. It shows you how to succeed. It shows you how and why black people fail. Supreme Understanding leaves no stones unturned and keeps it real 100 percent. Ain't no faking it.

If you want the real deal and you want to learn something that will help you in your life then read this book. How to Hustle and Win will answer every question and provide all the direction you need to start winning this game of life in words you can understand and relate to. So put down that new Triple Crown book and pick up How to Hustle and Win. For more information go to hustleandwin.com or myspace.com/hustlewin.

You can also do a whole smoked pork shlouder (it already comes vacuum packed in food grade plastic at the supermarket) in the instant pot for 24 hours at 65C. Just put it in and fill with hot water from the tap. Set the instant pot to keep warm with the lid off, and then unwrap and eat 24h 30h later.
