Born Assassin is a search for love, trust, betrayal, shoot ‘em up and leave no witnesses all rolled into one. Destiny Reyes, an attractive yet deadly assassin, is the product of a black mother and a Hispanic father who were both murdered. Upon making the grisly discovery, Destiny’s life would forever change.

Young, impressionable and unsure of her faith, eighteen-year-old Destiny is approached by the neighborhood drug lord and leader of the Webster Project crew Joseph Blake a.k.a. Joe Blake. Unbeknownst to her, Joe Blake knew the names of the culprits who murdered her parents. Astonished, her interest was immediately piqued. It didn’t take long for Joe Blake to convince her to come and work for him with the promise that he would help her find the killers.

Bloodshed and murder is a way of life for Destiny.  The city’s coroner’s office is filled with bodies as the Webster Project crew and Destiny’s reign of terror filled the city streets. Author Jatye, tries to balance the story by pitting Destiny’s love interest Marlon and their off and on relationship, and her son Hector whom she loved dearly; in a conflicting predicament that would eventually have her questioning her lifestyle.

What did you like best about this book?
All the characters had a voice especially Destiny and Marlon. Their confrontations were realistic.

What did you dislike about this book?
I had a problem with the time frame of going from the present to the past. There were times when I was lost. The narrator spoke like the characters and there were some grammatical errors which took away from the story.

How can the author improve this book?
He could use an editor. Separate the narrator speech from the dialogue between the characters.

Thanks for your comments on my song lrciys I'm Gonna Miss You . This genre of music is intended for country/pop. It was originally just for country but turning out to be country/pop. I'm recording it, not that I have the best voice lol, but it's only for a demo. I'm only for the writer/lyrics of my song. Sure would be nice if a major artist records it! A dream come true! Thanks again.Jeannette http://doweuilxwc.com anxrklmxp [link=http://dgtoyjyspag.com]dgtoyjyspag[/link]
